Branded merchandise isn’t just about logos—it’s about telling your story with every stitch, print, and material choice. At Work+Shelter, we help restaurants, cafes, markets, and food brands bring their values to life through high-quality, custom products that make a lasting impression. Here’s a look at seven of our favorite collaborations in the hospitality world:

1. Rigor Hill

Rigor Hill’s NYC market is all about high-end ingredients and thoughtful design and their merch is no exception. We’ve helped them create a cohesive set of branded goods over the years: custom Downtown and Brawn Bags in natural canvas with black embroidery, bakery bags for fresh bread, and rust orange Brawn Bags and Aprons Pantone-matched to their visual identity. Each piece strikes the balance between artisanal charm and elevated design.

2. Barbassi

This Abu Dhabi café came to us looking for uniforms that felt as refined as their space. We delivered organic cotton t-shirts and crisp blue-and-white striped aprons, both embroidered with their logo. Tote bags rounded out the collection—each item designed for daily use, crafted with premium materials, and aligned with their global, design-conscious brand.

3. OKO Food

Co-founded by designer Diane von Fürstenberg and chef Jane Coxwell, OKO Food needed launch-ready goods that blended aesthetics and impact. We delivered with organic cotton tea towels printed in their vibrant patterns bright, bold, and functional. The towels were a perfect fit for their clean, globally inspired brand and helped bring their pantry line to life.

4. Lula Cafe

For James Beard Award-winning chef Jason Hammel, event swag had to meet the same high standard as his seasonal menus. We created natural canvas wine bags and carry all bags featuring Lula Cafe’s custom artwork and logo, screenprinted and dyed to match their brand palette. The result? Elevated, eco-conscious merch that felt right at home in their thoughtful, creative world.

5. Reprise Roasters

This Evanston coffee shop wanted soft, wearable merch their customers would live in. We produced cozy 100% cotton French terry hoodies featuring full-back printed artwork and a breast pocket embroidered in full color, along with matching beanies. Locally made, locally loved—and designed to keep their community caffeinated and cozy.

6. Cingari Family Markets

With nearly a century of family-run grocery behind them, Cingari wanted merch that nodded to legacy while embracing modern branding. We created a luxe 100 Year Bag with leather straps, plus Pantone-matched Brawn Bags and branded baseball caps for an influencer gifting program. Classic, custom, and built to last—just like Cingari itself.

7. Tartinery

When Tartinery’s NYC cafés refreshed their brand, they needed uniforms to match. We produced mid-weight organic cotton chore jacket, dyed to their updated color palette and finished with contrast pockets for a modern twist. Functional and fashion-forward, they keep the team looking sharp while staying cool in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
