One Brawn Bag, Two Approaches

At first glance, they’re just two of our classic brawn bags. Both start with the same foundation: a roomy, structured tote made from 100% organic cotton canvas, with a generous 6.5″ gusset and two handles for carrying options. But take a closer look, and you’ll see a case study in thoughtful, elevated branding.

The first bag leans classic—natural canvas with a bold black embroidered logo across the front. Clean, crisp, and instantly recognizable, it’s the kind of merch that invites customers to show off where they shop—and what they stand for.

The second takes a quieter approach to branding. Dyed to match Rigor Hill’s signature rust orange, this version swaps the wordmark for an all-over logo repeat. And while “subtle” might not be the first word that comes to mind for an orange tote, the execution is just that: white-on-rust embroidery, minimal and modern. It’s branding with restraint—no shouting, just beautifully considered design.

The white embroidered logo extends across the entire bag and even up into the straps.

Both are durable and reusable, stitched to last with the structure and feel of a luxury item. That both feature embroidery is also intentional. It elevates both bags, adding texture, weight, and a tactile sense of quality.  And both help reinforce Rigor Hill’s ethos: that every detail matters, from the food on your plate to the bag you carry it in.

When branding is intentional, you don’t need to reinvent the shape—you can play with tone, color, and placement to say something new.
