The Challenge

When the Director of the Kellogg School of Management planned a trip to India, she wanted to bring back meaningful gifts for her team that reflected her appreciation. The goal was to find a gift that felt deeply connected to the Kellogg experience while honoring the artisanal heritage of the region she was visiting. With her departure date approaching, the challenge was to design and produce a high-end, custom item that could be completed and delivered before she left India.

Our Solution

We suggested custom silk scarves and collaborated with the Director to create artwork that felt both personal and symbolic. Our graphic designer drew inspiration from the iconic stained-glass windows students and staff pass daily on campus, translating those architectural details into a vibrant textile design. Our Delhi team then moved into production, translating the intricate artwork onto silk and finishing the scarves with the precision required for a luxury gift.

The Results

Despite the tight timeline, we completed and delivered the scarves in time for the Director’s return flight. The final pieces served as more than just a souvenir; they were a bridge between Kellogg’s values and the craftsmanship of India. By turning a familiar campus landmark into a wearable piece of art, the school was able to provide its team with a unique, ethically made gift that carried a story of both global connection and local heritage.
